Zantedeschia aethiopica is commonly known as a ‘Calla lily’ This hardy white variety is one of the most popular and is best started off in the greenhouse and planted out in a damp spot in the garden or submerged in ponds to a depth of 30cms. They are pretty hardy and will need to be kept in a sheltered area over the winter months. This variety will form clumps which can be divided in the spring.
