Yellow sulphur is excellent for protecting your bulbs, corms and tubers from the storage rot that can sometimes occur. Ideal for all types of bulbs yellow sulphur will help prevent fungal growth on stored bulbs.

Product Description:

Yellow Sulphur Powder for Powdery Mildew.

Is used for the control of powdery mildew on many fruits, flowers and vegetables including gooseberry, chrysanthemum, cineraria, cucumber, delphiniums, ornamental hops, hyacinth, marrow, peas, rose and strawberries.

When using on plants: Dust over plants or mix 3 Tbsp Sulphur Plant Fungicide per gallon of water. Repeat applications at 10-14 day intervals or as necessary, up to day of harvest. Applications must be timed to go on before rainy or spore discharge periods.

Also used to dust bulbs and tubers for storing over winter. It works better as a preventative than a treatment or cure. This is because the sulphur prevents fungal spores from germinating.

Works well especially when used in conjunction with tulips and dahlias and other tubers recommended by the RHS
