Peppers are very popular to grow in greenhouses or conservatories. Pepper chilli Jalapeno is a gorgeous variety to grow with an upright plant habit, very prolific grower with long thin very pungent fruits used for cayenne or chilli. The fruits of Pepper chilli Jalapeno go from green to red as they mature.

Pack size: Approximately 30 seeds
Sowing Indoors: Sow seeds indoors from February to April. Seeds should be sown on the surface of a free draining compost in pots and trays. Cover seeds with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite and place at a temperature 18-21C.
Prick seedlings out when they are large enough to handle into 7cm pots and grow on under glass.
Sow/Plant outdoors: Best grown indoors but can be planted outside in May and June. When growing outside use pots or a grow bag and place them in a sheltered sunny position. Feed once a week with tomato fertiliser after first fruits have set.
Use canes as the plant gets taller to support the weight of the crop.
Soil type: Free draining light soils that are humus rich.
Aspect: Full sun
Position: Prefer open planting in vegetable beds.
Harvest: July to October.
