Description
The flowers of Gloriosa greenii are long lasting and floriferous with a very striking yellowish green. Gloriosa greenii are easy to grow but they require a hot humid spot in the house or conservatory so not ideal for everyone. They can be taken/grown outside during the warm summer months but would need taking indoors for the winter.
Often also referred to as the flame lily of Rhodesia.

Cultivation Instructions
Indoor Planting: Gloriosa are easy to grow but they require a hot humid spot in the house or grow in a conservatory, so not ideal for everyone. Plant them in a container that has good drainage at the bottom. The soil mix should be equal quantities of loam peat and sand with grit added to help with drainage. They will grow 6-8 feet so ideal to train up a trellis or similar. Do not over water until you see the first signs of growth and then keep soils moist as they grow.
When growing indoors keep them in a well ventilated room that remains warm and humid with plenty of light but not direct sun light.
Outdoor Planting: Not suitable for growing outside.
Care tips:
Will benefit from using root grow when first planting.
Feed with Tomato feed and bone meal. or similar during the growing period to ensure they remain health for years to come.
Humidity is key for the best performance. Growing them up a trellis or similar is ideal.
