Description
What an eyecatcher variety, this eremurus Lemon Fizz will produce long spikes of flowers that have bright yellow flowers that open their way up the stem. Truly spectacular plants that are also commonly known as foxtail lilies. They love a sunny spot in borders but need to be sheltered or stacked if opened to high winds. They are also very attractive to bees and pollinating insects so a welcomed addition to the garden. Eremurus need good drainage, full sun and plenty of feeding. Cultivate the soil to a depth of 20 cms and from this make a small mound and place the eremurus on its centre with legs spread downwards. Growing tip should be 5 to 8cms below the soil surface.

Soil type: Free draining soil, sandy soils are ideal.
Aspect: full sun if possible but semi sun in warm areas are also fine.
