5 Tulip Negrita, 5 Tulip Flaming Flag, 5 Dwarf Tulip Saxatilis, 5 Narcissi Minnow and 5 Muscari Armeniacum
Plant outside: September to early December. Cultivate soils to a depth of 20cms and plant bulbs 5-15cms deep (see below). It is best to plant bulbs in soils that are fertile and free draining. In heavy soils add grit and humus matter to help with drainage. In light soils well rotted compost will help retain water. Regularly feed during the growing season with foods such as well rotted manures, Tomato feed and bone meal or tomato food will provide food for continued flowering.
The saxatillis, Minnow and Muscari will come back each year, the tulips do not always flower as well in their second year.
Ideal to grow with companion plants such as hyacinths and lavender.
Remember to feed the bulbs when they are growing with bone meal or similar
