Ideal for the sunnier parts of the garden, Anemonella Betty Blake has a lovely double flower structure that is light green and long lasting. These are tuberous-rooted herbaceous perennials and Anemonella Betty Blake is something that is completely different but a superb addition to the garden.
Indoor planting: Not suitable for growing indoors. Can be started off in pots inside and moved or planted outside once you see growth.
Planting outside: Plant in a moisture retaining soil in a sunny part of the garden. Cultivate soils to a depth of 8cms minimum and plant them with the roots fanned out at a depth of 3cms below the soil surface. Ensure that in the first year as they establish the soil does not dry out. After a few years and once well established they will need to be divided during the time they are dormant,
They will grow very well with things such as anemone blandas and trilliums.
Using bulb starter or root grow when first planting will help them to establish for future years flowering.
